Carol Ross Named WNBA Coach of the Year

Oakland Mississippi native Carol Ross was named the WNBA’s Coach of the Year. Ross took over the Los Angeles Sparks last winter and led the squad to an impressive turnaround which included a 24-10 record this season and a #2 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Ross spent time with the Atlanta Dream before heading west. She was also Head Coach of the University of Florida and at her alma mater, Ole Miss.
