Car crashes into ditch in Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A car found its way into a ditch after vearing off-road on Highway 69 in Lowndes County.

Two men were in the vehicle when the accident took place.

Flood waters on the highway likely factored into the crash.

Mississippi Highway Patrol and Lowndes County Sheriff responded to the scene.

The accident is under further investigation.
