Car crash causes power outage

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A Lowndes County driver crashed into a utility pole Thursday afternoon.

A Ford pick-up left Oswalt Road and collided with the pole.

4-County Electric customers did lose power while crews installed a new pole.

It did not appear that the driver was injured in the accident.

Lowndes County deputies are investigating the crash.
