Candidate Brandon Presley nears end of campaign tour ahead of Nov. 7
MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) – Democratic gubernatorial candidate Presley is nearing the end of his campaign tour just a week ahead of election day.
Presley made a stop in Aberdeen.
WCBI asked Presley about small businesses being prioritized around the state.
“I think it is so important that we support small businesses. Small businesses are the backbone of Mississippi’s economy. When the economy gets tough, small businesses don’t pack up and go to China. They don’t pack up and go to Mexico. They stay here in our communities. Sponsor the football programs. Sponsor the Christmas parades and as governor, I’ll make sure that supporting small businesses is one of our priorities in state government,” said Presley.
Presley said he has about 40 more stops between now and November 7.
Election day is Tuesday, November 7 and polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
