Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department Gets A Big Break In Rash Of Burglaries
CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Two trailer’s of stolen goods have been recovered and three suspects are behind bars. The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department got a ‘big break’ this weekend after accompanying the Department of Human Services to a residence on County Road 424. Sheriff Greg Pollan says while at the residence they noticed items that matched stolen goods reported from a rash of burglaries across Calhoun County. It took two 16 foot trailers to load the merchandise recovered which included lawn mowers, chainsaws, various tools, TV’s and other items. 34 year-old Vincente Sanchez, 27 year-old Jennifer Sanchez, and 72 year-old Rosendo Gonzales were all arrested in connection to the burglaries. The three are believed to be responsible for 9 residential burglaries. Gonzales is currently charged with seven counts of receiving stolen property.
