CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Calhoun County man was accused of starting a fire that eventually destroyed a shed. Nicholas Busam was charged with arson.

Sheriff Greg Pollan said the incident happened Wednesday on County Road 130.

After an argument with a family member, Busam was accused of lighting some leaves on fire.

He then went inside a home and didn’t tell anyone about the out-of-control grass fire outside.

Flames spread to a building and other personal property.

No injuries were reported.
