Calhoun City Homicide Investigation

CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WCBI) – Calhoun County and state investigators were on the scene of a homicide Friday night on West Taylor Avenue in Calhoun City. That’s where a black man was found dead.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says the home where the man was found is next to the Calhoun City High School football field.

Pollan says the unidentified victim was found about 4 P.M. Friday when a neighbor went to check on him.

The victim was found in a bedroom of the home. How he died is still under investigation.

No one has been arrested.
