Busted For Counterfeiting

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)-20 years. That’s what one Oxford woman faces after being accused of counterfeiting.

28 year-old Winafer Pomlee was indicted after allegedly forging and trying to pass $100 bills earlier this month in Lafayette County.

If convicted, Pomlee will also be forced to forfeit a jet printer and real $100 bills she allegedly used to pattern the notes of the counterfeits.

Pomlee has pleaded not guilty.

She is free on a $10,000 bond.
