Burn Ban in Lee County

TUPELO, Miss. –  The Lee County Board of Supervisors has requested and received authorization from the Mississippi Forestry Commission to issue a burn ban for Lee County, Mississippi.

This ban will be in effect from September 16, 2013 through midnight on September 30, 2013.

The need for a continuation of the ban will be considered at the September 30, 2013 meeting of the Board of Supervisors.
