Video: Bruce Teacher Accused Of Child Sex Crime To Appear Before Grand Jury
CALHOUN CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A former Bruce High School teacher and coach accused of a child sex crime has waived his right to a probable cause hearing.
41-year-old Loray Jordan, Jr. is charged with touching a child for lustful purposes. On Friday, he waived his right to a probable cause hearing, instead choosing to appear before a grand jury.
Bruce police say Child Protective Services received an annoymous tip regarding the allegations against Jordan on April 12th, and investigators interviewed the alleged high school victim.
Jordan turned himself in Tuesday and asked for a lawyer. Today, he was booked into the Calhoun County Jail.
