Bruce Man In Jail For Child Sex Crime

CALHOUN CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A Bruce man is in jail, accused of a sex crime against a child.

Officers arrested 19-year-old Ricco Simmons Sunday.

Bruce Police Chief Stan Evans tells WCBI Simmons is charged with sexual battery of a child under the age of 14.

Evans says the alleged crime was reported by the child’s grandmother.

Simmons is being held in the Calhoun County Jail.
