BREAKING – Son Charged In Murder Of Robert Smith, Jr.

COLUMBUS (WCBI) – Robert Smith, Jr. is dead  apparently at the hands of his son.

Davius Roshard Smith is charged with murder in the Wednesday afternoon shooting death of his father  As WCBI first told you last night, MBI Agents were questioning a person of interest in the case Thursday night before filing official charges against Davius Smith around 11 AM Friday.   Justice Court Judge Ron Cooke set bond for the accused killer at $100,000 .  The suspect is the grandson of Columbus Mayor Robert Smith.   Investigators did not detail what led them to charge Davius Smith during today’s initial appearance.
