BREAKING: A Shooting In West Point Leaves One Dead

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – West Point Police are investigating a shooting that leaves one person dead.

It happened Sunday afternoon on Progress Street.

Assistant Police Chief Kennedy Meaders says there’s no suspect at this time, but he says the public is not in danger.

Investigators are continuing to gather information.
