Breaking: Possible Armed Robbery in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Reports of an alleged armed robbery at a Columbus gas station came in early Friday morning.

At around 1:15 am, Columbus police responded to the Sprint Mart at the intersection of highway 69 and Yorkville Road East.

The suspect was seen running and is described as a black male wearing a black face mask.

Police were searching behind the building with flash lights and interviewing witnesses on the scene.
