#BREAKING: Ole Miss Removes Interim Label, Makes Matt Luke Full-Time Head Coach
OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — The interim head coach tag has been removed from Matt Luke.
Ole Miss announced Luke will be named the full-time head coach after going 6-6 in the 2017 season. Luke took over a week before the season began after Hugh Freeze’s firing.
Luke also added to his resume by bringing the Golden Egg trophy back to Oxford with a 31-28 win over Mississippi State on Thanksgiving Day.
Luke will be formally introduced as head coach on Monday in a press conference at 11:30 A.M. CT.
