BREAKING NEWS Missing New Hope Man Believed To Be Dead, Two Relatives In Custody

(LOWNDES COUNTY, MS) – WCBI  Lowndes County authorities have confirmed that the disappearance of Manuel Vasquez of New Hope is being treated as a homicide.  Sheriff Mike Arledge says evidence and information developed over the past two days have led them to believe Vasquez is dead.  Vasquez’s wife, Christina Martinez, and his mother-in-law, Lydia Martinez, are being held at the Lowndes County jail but no official charges have been announced.  WCBI will have the latest on the story as it becomes available.
