Video: Montgomery County Murderer Pleads Guilty
MONTGOMERY CO., Miss. (WCBI) – The man accused of triple homicide in Montgomery County pleads guilty today in court.
Odell Hallmon, charged with the deaths of 32-year-old Marquita Hill, her mother, 59-year-old Carolyn Sanders, both of Kilmichael, and 32-year-old Kenneth Loggins, plead guilty to all three counts of murder.
A fourth person, Marcus Brown, was also shot, but he survived.
Hallmon also plead guilty to one count of aggravated assault with a weapon and one count of a convicted felon with a weapon.
He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murders, 20 years for the aggravated assault charge, and ten years for convicted felon with a weapon charge.
Those sentences are to be served concurrently.
One of the victims, Marquita Hill, leaves behind a 12-year-old son.
Hill’s brother says he will be taking care of his nephew.
