BREAKING – Monroe County Schools Dismissing After Social Media Threat

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Students at Hamilton and all schools in the Monroe County School District are dismissing at noon following a threat made on social media.  Law Enforcement and school officials are at the school to investigate the threat. WCBI will have the latest on the threat live at noon. Below is the statement released by the superintendent’s office:

A concerning anonymous message that was posted on-line Tuesday evening has been brought to our attention. While the concerning situation is being investigated by school officials and law enforcement, we feel it is best to release school today at noon.
