Video: BREAKING – CPD Officer Arrested For Domestic Violence

COLUMBUS (WCBI) –  A Columbus Police officer already on suspension could face further discipline after a Tuesday morning arrest.

Columbus Police were called  to the residence of Kenyada Blair around 1:30 Tuesday morning on a domestic violence call.  The CPD secured the residence and contacted Lowndes County deputies which is standard when a  city official or employee is involved in any type accident or incident.   Deputies placed Blair under arrest and charged her with Domestic Violence.   Blair is the same officer suspended 60 working days following a June fight with a citizen in the McDonald’s parking lot while she was on duty.   Columbus Mayor Robert Smith and the council will have to meet to determine any further action from this morning’s arrest.
