Calhoun County Escapee Captured
CALHOUN COUNTY (WCBI) – Calhoun County jail escapee Daniel Easley is back in custody.
Sheriff Greg Pollan says Webster County deputies picked Easley up Friday. Pollan says he is still gathering details on where Easley was located. A Calhoun County deputy is headed to Webster County to pick Easley up and bring him back to Pittsboro. Easley has been on the run since November 26th. That’s the day he was able to slip away while working outside the jail and take a Calhoun County patrol car. That car was later found abandoned in Oktibbeha County. Easley was being held in jail on arson charges in connection with the burning of a stockyard in West Point
