BREAKING- Boil Water Order Lifted For Tupelo

TUPELO (WCBI)  –  The boil water notice for the City of Tupelo is over.  Follow up samples are back and the water is safe for consumption .

It is suggested that lines in the home be run for a time period in order to flush them .  Washing machines and dishwashers should also be put through a complete cycle just as a precaution .  The system  was placed under the notice Thursday  after a sample indicated total coliform and E-Coli were present.
