Booneville Woman Killed in Wreck

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi state troopers are investigating a wreck that killed a Booneville woman early Saturday morning.

The one-car crash happened near Hills Chapel in Prentiss County around 4:30 a.m.

Troopers say 43-year-old Terri Huggins was heading north on County Road 3401, when she failed to stop at an intersection, crossed MS 30 and crashed into an embankment.

Huggins was brought to a nearby hospital, where she later died from injuries in the crash.
