Booneville Police Make Drug Arrest
BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Booneville police make several recent drug arrests.
Now, several people are facing some serious charges.
Tone Collins, 39, is charged with two counts of the sale of methamphetamine.
His bond was set at $40,000.
Glenda Braxton, 24, is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
Booneville police made the arrest after serving a search warrant at a South Lake Street home.
Investigators seized 60 grams of marijuana and a small amount of meth.
Melissa Nicholas, 40, is also charged with two counts of the sale of mehamphetamine. Her picture was not available.
Booneville Police Chief Michael Ramey says all of the charges were enhanced because the home was within 1,500 feet of a church.
In an unrelated investigation, Forry Hines, 23, was charged with two counts of the sale of crack cocaine.
His bond was set at $20,000.
Hines and Collins are being held on a probation violation.
