Book Mart Cafe makes memories bright this holiday season
Customers were able to bring their kids into the store to take pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Owner and director of KMG creations Kayla Gilmore says this was a great way to bring people together.
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Christmas is a time of happiness and holiday cheer. That is why Owner and director of KMG creations Kayla Gilmore put together a meet and greet with Santa for the community. She says this was a great way to bring people together.
“Today was an opportunity for KMG creations to exhibit giving back to the community, but this time we are giving back through the Christmas spirit as Mr. and Mrs. Santa clause. This was a great opportunity, and it was free for those who have not seen Santa all year long, and not only that, get a chance to see Mrs. Claus as well,” said Kayla Gilmore.
Everyone that came out, benefited from the event.
“Children and parents came to see Santa and they got to see Mrs. Claus and some elves as well. They got to take pictures and tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas, and they received a toy and a candy cane. It was just wonderful and beautiful to see the smiles on their faces at Book Mart cafe for this free occasion to bring everybody out,” said Gilmore.
Gilmore said she had one purpose in mind for creating the meet and greet.
“Our main goal was to bring the Christmas spirit at no cost and bring the community together and show how much love is,” said Gilmore.
Gilmore also said she wanted to show that Christmas is more than just presents and stocking stuffers.
“To promote that Santa is about love and spirit and this is about being thankful and showing love to each other, so this has given us the opportunity to exhibit and to be a part of the community and to collaborate with business owners such as book mart cafe and we just work together to put some smiles on people’s faces,” said Gilmore.
