Bond Set For Aberdeen Murder Suspect
ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond is set at $250,000 for the suspect charged in the shooting death of an Aberdeen man.
Jermaine Elliott, 34, is charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of Ronele Jones, 24. Elliott is being held in the Monroe County Jail.
The shooting happened at a home around 5:30 Wednesday morning.
Family members tell WCBI Jones was under a restraining order to stay away from his ex-girlfriend’s home.
When he came to her house, she reportedly called Elliott for help. The shooting happened during an altercation between the two men.
Jones died from a single gun shot wound. An autopsy is being performed
