Bond Set For A Tishomingo County Shooting Suspect

Iuka, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond is set for the man accused of shooting a woman in the face in Tishomingo County.

Herbert Lee Bennett, 57, is charged with attempted murder.

Investigators say Bennett shot at 48 year-old Francine Angel. A bullet grazed her face. She was treated and released from a local hospital.

The shooting happened Friday night on County Road 158.

Bennett remains in the Tishomingo County jail on a $100,000 bond.
