Bond Set For Columbus Homicide Suspect

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus Judge Gary Goodwin set Darrion Walls’ bond at one million dollars for murder Friday evening.

Investigators believe Walls is the man who shot and killed Deanthony Jones at the Sandfield One Stop in the city last Tuesday.

Walls turned himself in Thursday after a murder warrant was issued for his arrest.

Walls remains in the Lowndes County Detention Center.
