Bond denied for teen accused of shooting father

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Bond was denied in Tupelo Municipal Court for Michael Sullivan, 19.

Tupelo Police say he’s charged with 1st Degree Murder. Sullivan was arrested Tuesday after being released from a local psychological facility.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Lumpkin Avenue Monday night.

Police say they found Floyd Sullivan, 62, dead with gunshot wounds.

The victim is also the stepfather of a well know rap duo from north Mississippi, Rae Sremmurd.
