CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond was set for two Clay County homicide suspects on Friday afternoon.

Shundray Johnson, 22, of Mantee and Tabarrius Coffey, 24, of Calhoun City are both in the Clay County jail on a $500,000 bond.

Johnson was arrested in Memphis by U.S. Marshals. Coffey was arrested early Friday morning in Calhoun County.

Johnson and Coffey are both charged with two counts of murder.

Kentario Boyd and Kenya Campbell were found shot to death on Dixie Road in western Clay County on Tuesday.

Sheriff Eddie Scott says the victims, both from Lee County, were shot multiple times.

Law enforcement were called to the area about a suspicious vehicle and later notified about the victims.

One victim was found laying partially out of a vehicle and the other was found inside the car.

Evidence, including shell casing, were recovered at the scene.

Scott is not saying if the suspects knew the victims or a motive for the shooting.

“An around the clock investigation conducted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation along with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office, Mississippi Department of Corrections, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, the 16th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Marshal Service resulted in the quick apprehension of the murder suspects,” said Scott in a Friday press release.
