Body found in lake confirmed to be missing man, Robert Hargrove

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant confirmed Robert Hargrove is the man found in the water this past weekend.

He was found by a man who went fishing.

Hargrove crashed his vehicle on September 29 at the intersection of 15th Street South and Pickensville Road. No one saw him near the vehicle.

Several searches were done in the area but they all come up empty.

Hargrove was identified by tattoos on his body.

Merchant said Hargrove died from freshwater drowning after the crash and there was no trauma to his body.
