Body Found in Columbus

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A man’s body was found early Monday morning on Waterworks Road in Columbus.

The body was found near the 700 block of Waterworks Road shortly before 3 a.m.

Police say there are no signs of violence right now.

The Lowndes County Coroner’s office will identify the man at a later time.

Columbus police continue to investigate.
