Video: Board Meets To Discuss Alleged Mishandling of Funds

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI)- Parents and members of the cheerleading booster club at Amory High School are worried about how some of their money is being handled.

The Amory school board met in an executive session this evening to discuss the issue.

Officials did not want to talk on camera but say they did review the matter and say no action was taken.

Leaders also did not say exactly how much money was in question.

Earlier this month, several parents came to the school board meeting.

A spokesperson from the booster club held a lengthy discussion with board members about the alleged misallocation of funds.
