STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — The owners of an art exhibit at Mississippi State University describe their collection as the place where art and history intersect.

“The Kinsey collection” has been on display in the John Grisham room at the MSU library since March.

The exhibit features authentic and rare art, artifacts, books, documents and manuscripts.

Bernard and Shirley Kinsey say it tells the often untold story of African-American achievement and contribution.
“We think this is an opportunity to really experience and to see and to appreciate items and objects that your just not going to get a chance to see anywhere else,” said Collection Owner Benard Kinsey.

There’s still time to see the exhibit. The Kinsey Collection will be on display at the MSU library through June 20th.
