Below freezing but overall calm

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Temperatures this week are going to be chilly, especially the first half of the week. End of the week conditions are looking a bit warmer with expectations for the next round of rain.

MONDAY NIGHT: A COLD night is going to be moving in for the beginning of this week. Overnight low temperatures will be dropping into the upper 20s. Sky conditions will remain clear and calm though, allowing for that temperatures drop.

TUESDAY: Slightly warmer and still plenty sunny! High temperatures will reach into the low to middle 50s. Staying mostly clear with little to no cloud coverage. The sky staying clear again will allow for the coldest night of the week. Temperatures Tuesday night will drop further, into the middle 20s.

WEDNESDAY: Just a little bit warmer, as high temperatures reach into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Cloud coverage will start the day light but will be filling back in and across Mississippi throughout the day. Conditions will be staying dry. Low temperatures will be back above freezing, hitting the middle 30s.
