Video: Barges Secured Again On Tenn-Tom River

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A brief scare on the Tenn-Tom Waterway Wednesday afternoon.

One or two barges managed to get loose for a short time.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says a tow boat was able to secure the barges.

Lowndes County deputies and Columbus police were called to the scene.

No one was injured and the barges were secure in less than an hour.
