Baldwyn man charged in connection with Saturday shooting
BALDWYN, Miss. (WCBI) – A Baldwyn man was charged with aggravated assault from a Saturday night shooting.
Baldwyn Investigator Xavier Cousins told WCBI that the suspect and the victim had some kind of disagreement. That’s when police said 19-year-old Qualon Spencer shot the victim two times.
His bond has been set at $250,000.
The shooting happened at an apartment on Banks Drive in Baldwyn. Law enforcement arrived just after 10 p.m. The victim was taken to the hospital in Booneville and then flown to Tupelo.
He was expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators were not releasing his name.
