Assault Case Moved To Calhoun County Justice Court

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-No date has been set for a Calhoun City store owner after being charged with Simple Assault.

Buck Langford and Derma Policeman Byron Talford were recently charged with Simple Assault after a physical altercation in the parking lot of Clint’s Pit Stop in Bruce on Sunday, December 8th.

Langford’s charges against Talford were filed in the county court, but Talford’s charges against Langford were filed in Bruce City Court.

The request to move Langford’s case to Calhoun County Justice Court was approved last week.
