Arrests Yet To Be Made In Social Media Threat Case

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County deputies, along federal and state law enforcement continue to investigate a social media threat to New Hope School.

Investigators continued interviewing potential persons of interest today.

Law enforcement sent a subpoena to Facebook to get information from the site.

The single threat started circulating on social media this past Sunday.

A number of juveniles have been interviewed about the post but no arrests have been made.

Security remained tight at each Lowndes County school today.
