Arrest made in a Clay County robbery

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An arrest has been made in a Clay County convenience store robbery.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Thompson around 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Thompson is suspected to be involved in a robbery Friday night at Mike’s Country Store on Highway 50 W.

The robbery is under investigation, and we will bring you more information as it is released.
