Armed Robber Sentenced to 12 Years
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A Tupelo man is sentenced to 12 years behind bars.
Cory Juwan Baker pleaded guilty in August to robbing the M & F Bank in September 2011.
He pleaded guilty to bank robbery by force and use of a weapon in the commission of a violent crime.
He faced up to 32 years behind bars.
He was originally charged with a third crime of unlawful transport of firearms, but was offered a plea deal.
Baker must also serve 5 years probation once he’s released from prison.
