Another Summer-Like Day Today.
TODAY: Very warm. Mostly sunny, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. While a rogue pop-up shower cannot be ruled out, our rain chance is below 10%, so I have left any mention of rain off the 7-Day forecast.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild. Lows in the low 60s.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy through the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, especially north of US-82. Highs in the low to mid 80s. Chance of rain around 30%. Overnight, a couple of isolated showers or storms will be possible, with lows in the low to mid 60s.
SATURDAY: Scattered storms will be more numerous on Saturday as a cold front approaches from the west. Some of these storms could be strong to locally severe, especially from noon to 8 pm. Gusty straight line winds and hail appear to be the most prominent threats. Our temperatures will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s. Chance of rain around 60%. Overnight lows drop to the low 50s Saturday night.
SUNDAY: Significantly cooler air moves in behind the cold front. Mix of sun and clouds on Sunday, and you might want to dust off the jackets with highs only reaching the mid 60s.
