Amory Police Make Drug Arrest

AMORY,  Miss. (WCBI) – An Aberdeen man wanted for an outstanding a warrant is now facing drug charges.

Amory police were responding to a medical call Thursday when Samuel Johnson, 26, reportedly approached them.

After determining he had an outstanding warrant, officers arrested him. During a search, they found meth.

Johnson is charged with possession of a controlled substance. He posted a $10,000 bond and was released.
