Amory Police Investigate Reported Tuesday Night Business Armed Robbery

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — The Amory Police Department (APD) is looking for leads in a business robbery last night.

According to a press release provided by the APD, the burglary allegedly took place shortly after 9:30 p.m. While an employee was closing the business, a man wearing a bandanna to cover his face “entered the store, showed a handgun,” and demanded money from the cash register.

Per the release, the suspect allegedly took a “small amount of cash,” then proceeded to leave the scene on foot.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall. The release states he was wearing a blue hoodie, dark jeans, black gloves with fingers cut out, and a black bandanna with white designs.
