Amory Man Charged with Making False Calls to 911

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-An Amory man is being held at a $25,000 dollar bond after authorities say he made false calls to an emergency service. 50 year-old Larry Lee was arrested last Friday (10-26) by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. He is charged with 24 counts of Abusive calls to an Emergency Service. Authorities said the calls were received between the 21st and 26th of October. Lee is currently being held at the Monroe County Detention Center. Authorities want to remind everyone that making false calls is a crime.
