Amory High School Student Arrested After Pulling Knife on Police

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — No one was injured after a student pulled a knife on police officers at Amory High School.

Amory police say just before noon today they were called to the high school to pick up a juvenile who was a threat to themselves and other students.

While trying to detain the student, a struggle took place and a knife was pulled.

Police were forced to tase the student in order to get the knife away.

The juvenile has been taken to a youth detention center
