AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – If you are looking for a history lesson that you can really sink your teeth in to, Johnnie Ford, of Miss Johnnie’s Cakes in Amory, is baking six full sized sheet cakes.

Each one will feature a picture depicting Amory’s rich history.

Ford is using food coloring, and a state of the art printer, to recreate pictures from the local archives.

The cakes will be displayed this Saturday (11-10) at Frisco Park.

After you get a good look at them, the Pilot Club will cut the cakes into a thousand pieces and serve them up.
