Amory Woman Accused of Selling Rx Pills

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-An Amory woman finds herself in jail after being charged with Sale of a Controlled Substance. According to The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit the arrests was a part of a long under cover investigation that involves several individuals in the sale of illegal narcotics in Monroe County.

34 year-old Mary Prescott was arrested last Friday(12-7) for allegedly selling Suboxone. Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says Prescott is one of eight more arrests that will be made.

Prescotts bond is set at $25,000 dollars.
