Amazon plans to bring operations to Starkville adding to economic growth
OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Another victory in economic development for the Golden Triangle was confirmed.
Amazon has agreed to bring its business operations to the Golden Triangle along with dozens of jobs.
The major corporation will move into the 50,000-square-foot speculative building at the NorthStar Industrial Park in Starkville.
The facility will provide “last mile” operations meaning deliveries will be made to customer’s doorsteps.
90 jobs are expected to be filled when operations begin in 2024.
Mayor Lynn Spruill said the full-time and part-time opportunities will be beneficial to a diverse group of employees.
