Allen Takes on New Role

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – A West Point woman has been chosen to lead a statewide non-profit organization.

Martha Allen will be the new Executive Director for Extra Table.

The Hattiesburg based organization provides healthy food in bulk to food pantries and soup kitchens at below wholesale cost.

Extra Table serves 32 counties. Allen would like to expand its reach into every county in the state.

Allen has worked with the Growth Alliance in West Point and most recently with the Pines and Cady Hill Recovery Center in Columbus..
