Alabama’s Derrick Henry Named Heisman Trophy Finalist

(WCBI Sports) – Alabama’s best will be one of three men headed to New York with a possibility of receiving the Heisman Trophy.

Junior running back Derrick Henry was named one of three finalists Monday for the award. Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey were the other two players selected to be up for the honor that goes annually to the best college football player in the country.

The presentation of the award will be this Saturday, Dec. 12 in New York.
